Who is JBS Broadcasting?
JBS Broadcasting has been serving Hampton Roads (Norfolk ADI) for almost 10 years. What started as a single station, Channel
39 out of Yorktown has grown to four stations. Channel 39 which has now moved from Yorktown to Portsmouth, covers all of Hampton
Roads, Channel 17 out of Richmond VA covers the Richmond area, Channel 19 out of Hampton VA covers much of the Peninsula and
Channel 18 out of Virginia Beach covers a large portion of the city.
Channels 39 (Hampton Roads) and 17 (Richmond) simulcast the same great religious programming on both stations. Channels
18 and 19 are both currently National shopping networks.
In the near future all of our stations will be delivered to you digitally. This not only increases the variety of programming
brought to you by JBS Broadcasting, it will also greatly increase the clarity of our stations.

Sam was born in Newport News and his family has been doing business here for over 100 years. The headquarters of JBS Broadcasting
is currently in the same building his Father, Ben Jacobs, practiced law. Before founding JBS Broadcasting, Sam was the Managing
Partner of TV 49 before it was sold to PAX.
